Do you have Pet Friendly Rooms?
We do! We look forward to hosting you and your 4 legged companion! Rooms 106 and 206 are Pet Friendly- please just select one of these rooms when you make a reservation, and add a note that you're bringing a pet.
Is the restaurant open?
Due to current conditions with Covid, we are choosing not to open the restaurant at this time. However, we are taking the opportunity to renovate the space, and look forward to offering a cozy, stylized place where you can enjoy a meal or beverage. We anticipate opening in mid 2021.
Are there Wheelchair Accessible Rooms?
We do have one room that has a ramp access to increase handicap accessibility. If you would like to book this room specifically please let us know while making your reservation and we will be happy to accomodate this request.
How close are you to Chateau Morrisette?
We are a mere 2.6 miles, or 5 minute drive to the gorgeous and delicious Chateau Morrisette.
What is your Mile Marker on the Blue Ridge Parkway?
We're located at Mile Marker 174.1, at 182 Woodberry Rd SW, Meadows of Dan VA.
How close are you to Floydfest?
It is but a measly 3.9 mile drive, or 6 minutes from the epic musical experience that is Floydfest.
Are there wineries and vineyards nearby?
Hiccup- Yes! Phenomenal wineries, at that. Villa Appalachia is 4 miles down the road in a scenic setting; they offer fabulous italian style wines. Chateau Morrisette is 5 minutes away. Stanburn Winery is a bit past Stuart VA, Whitebarrel Winery, New River Vineyard, and Firefly Hill Vineyards are north near Christiansburg. Iron Heart Winery and West Wind Farm Vineyard and Winery are to the west past Hillsville. I could keep going but I think you get the point... there are plenty of beautiful and tasty vineyards for a quick afternoon tasting, or a full day experience.
Do your rooms have heating and A/C?
Does a Zebra have stripes? Yes- absolutely. We want you to be cool when you need to chill, and toasty when you want to warm up!
Will I have WI-FI access in my room?
We are proud to be part of the 21st century, and as such have great wi-fi access in all rooms!
Can I play in the pond?
Registered Guests may fish in the pond during your reservation. No swimming, kayaking, skinny dipping, etc in the pond though y'all!
